Bolshoi Partners is a private capital advisory. We prepare businesses for capital, build the investment case, identify who should see it, and manage the process from first review through investor dialogue.
The value is in the match between a business and the capital that actually fits it, not in the size of a contact list.
Start with a private review. No fundraising commitment.
We look at the business the way an investor would: investment logic, the numbers, governance, risk, whether it would hold up under real diligence, and who its natural investors actually are.
What you get: a private diagnostic dashboard showing what to protect, what to fix, and what capital is likely to question first.
Once the business holds up, the question changes: which capital should back it, in what structure, and why. Different capital has different mandates and different reasons to back the same business. We work out which types fit, what stake and structure make sense for each, and how the deal is packaged financially before anyone sees it.
What you get: a distinct case, and a distinct offer, for each type of capital that fits.
We run the process itself: the narrative adapted for each type of capital, named decision-makers, and a Match Note behind every approach, explaining why this investor, why this business, why now.
What you get: coordinated investor conversations, each one accountable to a stated reason, and terms aligned to what actually closes.
Illustrative excerpt from a Bolshoi Match Note, shown to demonstrate the format only.
For businesses, relevance comes before reach: the right capital, not the longest list. For investors, fewer opportunities arrive, each one already read against a stated focus. Bolshoi works on a deliberately limited number of mandates at any time, each screened personally before acceptance, and every approach follows an approved thesis rather than a distribution list.
Bolshoi prepares private businesses for capital, identifies where they fit, and manages the capital process once they are ready.

Strong businesses can spend months in the wrong capital conversations, because the investment case reaching the market is not the one investors need to understand.
Three distinct stages: assessing how the business reads to capital, defining the right capital and transaction structure, then managing the investor process itself.
Investor Readiness
Assess how the business reads to capital, where diligence friction will arise, and what should be fixed before the market sees it.

Already spoken to two dozen investors, and the process has quietly died.
Looking for a new pool of capital without a credible route into it.
Who can use the Sanity Check. Established private businesses and asset owners with real, verifiable economics. No active fundraising process is required.
Who we take into capital mandates. Active capital requirements typically start at approximately USD 3 million. We do not select mandates by sector; we look for a real economic engine, a credible use of capital, and enough underlying substance for an investor to make a serious decision.
Scalability is broad by design: a software business scales through customer growth, a mining asset through de-risking and development, a platform through consolidation. The mechanism differs by business; the requirement does not.
Scalable economics. Capital has a credible route to creating materially greater enterprise value, whatever form that takes for this business.
Understandable model. We can identify who pays, why they pay, where the margin comes from and how the economics work.
Verifiable fundamentals. Revenue, assets, ownership and material operating claims can ultimately be evidenced.
Clean legal footing. The company, assets, ownership and contemplated transaction can withstand normal compliance and diligence.
Aligned principals. The owners and authorised decision-makers are accessible and prepared to run a disciplined process.
Clear use of funds. There is a specific reason for raising capital and a credible account of what it changes.
Your materials do not need to be perfect. Your underlying business does need to be real.
We work directly with principals, not chains of intermediaries, and every mandate is reviewed personally before it is accepted. More on our approach →

Investor Readiness
A complimentary, confidential review of how your business is likely to read to investors today, useful whether or not you are raising.
What an investor would actually think if your business landed on their desk tomorrow. It reads on the same things a lender, a partner or a buyer eventually will.
Five lenses apply to every review. Three adapt to how this business actually creates value. Hover or tap a lens.
Whether the commercial argument holds together on a first read, without a call to explain it.
Whether the existing capital structure makes sense, and what new capital would actually fix.
Whether the cap table and decision rights are clean enough to move quickly.
Whether the claims can be checked, or rest on the deck alone.
Who this naturally fits, and how far current positioning sits from them.
Whether revenue is recurring, concentrated or lumpy, and how closely it converts to cash.
Whether the economics of the business hold up at the unit level, not just in aggregate.
Whether growth requires proportionate capital, or compounds more efficiently than that.
Shows what is assessed, not a score. Nothing here is computed until a real business is reviewed.
What a completed review looks like: three headline signals, an eight-lens diagnostic matrix with a finding for each, and, where relevant, structured feedback from real investors who looked at the business.
Commercial argument holds together on a first read.
Strong conversion. High customer concentration.
Margin ahead of sector average at current scale.
Growth currently requires proportionate headcount.
Clean structure, no legacy debt overhang.
Cap table requires clarification before outreach.
No management accounts less than two quarters old.
Clear fit with growth-stage private equity and strategics.
Bolshoi's own read, included in every review.
Only where the situation allows, expressly approved and feasible. Not a default part of every review.
Illustrative sample, built to show the format only. Real investor participation depends on what the situation allows and is never sought without your approval; where it happens, feedback is anonymised and aggregated before it reaches you.
The review is complimentary because we use it to decide whether there is a serious basis for working together. No mandate is required.
Investor Process Execution
The audience stays selective. Every approach has a reason. Every response changes what happens next.
Narrative and materials kept at investor grade as the business moves. The right audiences approached in the right order, with feedback folded back in as it comes. Every meeting prepared for in advance. This is continuity of judgment, applied every month it runs.
Every cycle runs the same sequence, reprioritised weekly or bi-weekly against what came back.
—Target approval
—Material approval
—Outreach
—Response capture
—Meeting preparation
—Follow-up
—Weekly or bi-weekly reprioritisation
Three approvals stay with the client throughout: who a name is disclosed to, which materials version goes out, and which targets are added to the approved list. Nothing moves past those points without sign-off.
—Selected against a stated thesis, not a mailing list.
—A named decision-maker, approved by the client as a target.
—The right edition of the story, with a Match Note attached.
—Delivery confirmed, and the result recorded either way.
Outreach follows the approved target sequence. Fit and information quality determine pace, not activity quotas.
Sector, geography, economics and transaction shape. No identifying information.
Identity is disclosed only to counterparties you approve.
The investor receives the approved financial and diligence pack.
Access is logged by investor and by document set.
Opened once mutual interest is established, on your terms.
Identity is never disclosed without client approval. Every access point is logged by counterparty and by document set.
Nothing is repeated without knowing why the last attempt did or did not work. This is the shape of the record every mandate runs on.

Capital Fit & Transaction Structure
Once a business holds up, the next question is which capital should back it, in what structure, and why.
The facts do not change. The investment case does.
A family office, a strategic corporate, a private equity fund and a credit investor can look at the identical business and see four different opportunities. This is where we work out which of them actually fit, what each would need to hear, and what to offer them.
The Sanity Check confirms the business is sound and not afraid of scrutiny. This is what happens next: deciding who it actually belongs in front of, and building the case for each of them, before Investor Visibility Management puts any of it into motion.
Choose a type to see the reason that actually moves them, and how they tend to behave once they are interested.
Qualitative, not scored. Decision mechanics differ by capital type and institution. A principal-led family office, an investment committee, a strategic corporate and a credit underwriter may require different evidence, sequencing and internal approvals even when reviewing the same company.
Not just the category. The actual family offices, funds and individuals worth approaching for this specific business.
Deliverable: a named list of who is actually worth approaching.
Minority or majority, equity or credit, outright sale or partnership, matched to who is being approached.
Deliverable: a structure hypothesis and negotiation range for each name on the list.
The financial framing, the valuation logic, the use-of-proceeds story, built for each edition before it is shown to anyone.
Deliverable: an Investor Materials Pack — Master Investment Case, Blinded Teaser, Financial Summary, and investor-specific narrative per edition, handed to Investor Visibility Management. Materials architecture and content are included; full deck design or production is scoped separately where required.
Mapping decides who, and builds the case for each. Approaching them is what Investor Visibility Management does next.
Not a named list. A named, prioritised, reasoned universe.

The Sanity Check is complimentary. Investor Mapping is fixed-scope. Active capital mandates combine an initial engagement fee with a completion fee linked to capital successfully closed.
A fixed fee pays for senior work regardless of outcome. A completion fee keeps interests aligned with the result. Each stage solves a different problem and produces a separate deliverable; fees are structured so work is not charged twice.
See how the business reads to capital before anything is put into market. No fundraising mandate attached.
Request a Sanity Check →Define the natural capital audience, transaction structure and the reason each investor should care, before anyone is approached.
Scope depends on transaction complexity, the number of capital editions required and the state of existing materials and data room.
If Investor Visibility Management begins within 60 days, the Mapping fee is credited against the initial Visibility engagement fee, up to AED 40,000.
Explore Investor Mapping →Runs the process from positioning and targeting through investor conversations and feedback, aligned to capital actually closed.
Discuss Investor Visibility Management →Typically 2–5% of capital successfully closed, stepping down as transaction size increases, agreed within the applicable regulated structure before outreach begins. Debt and structured credit mandates are typically priced lower. Final economics depend on structure, complexity and mandate scope.
Most engagements begin at the Sanity Check. Investor Mapping follows once the review shows a real fit worth building on. Investor Visibility Management runs the process it defines.
Most businesses manage how customers see them. Almost none manage how capital sees them.
Bolshoi Partners exists to give that version of a business the same discipline. We are based in the UAE and work across GCC and MENA private capital, on a small number of mandates at a time by design, not by accident.
Bolshoi is a principal-led advisory practice supported by a structured operating system. Technology keeps the process controlled and traceable; judgment remains principal-led. Every mandate is reviewed personally before it is accepted, and every investor conversation is coordinated by someone who has read the specific situation directly.
Founder, Bolshoi Partners
Dubai, UAE
Every mandate Bolshoi accepts is reviewed personally before it begins, and every capital map, deal architecture and investor conversation runs through the same principal-led standard described on this site.
—Who should actually see this business, and why them specifically.
—What they will notice first, and what will concern them.
—What would give them a genuine reason to back it.
An approach made without answering these is distribution with better formatting.
Before accepting a mandate, we confirm who owns the business, who is authorised to give the mandate, who else is already involved, and where a conflict might sit. In practice, that means we do not take on situations with unclear ownership, conflicting shareholders, long chains of intermediaries, or financials that cannot be verified. We can decline a mandate, and sometimes do.
If you are considering capital, reviewing an existing process, or looking for a particular kind of opportunity, tell us enough to understand the situation. Every submission is read personally.
